A workplace-based assessment is a structured assessment of professional work carried out in or around real clinical practice. Another professional observes, reviews, discusses or evaluates a specific aspect of your work.
Not all workplace assessments involve direct observation. That distinction matters.
The right assessment answers the right question. Watching performance is not the same as discussing reasoning.
Assessment is a structured judgement. Feedback is how work was experienced. Supervision is a relationship over time. A logbook records experience. They can connect. They are not interchangeable.
